Our hearts are heavy. It is with great sorrow that we announce that Brandi “Bee” Dodson passed away June 1, 2024 exactly six months after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cancer. She was 34. She left behind her loving husband and 12-year-old daughter.
Brandi was our first Woman Road Warrior award recipient and one of the brightest lights and bravest souls we have encountered. Brandi’s slogan was Fight Like Bee. She did exactly that. As she said, cancer never wins.
Brandi "Bee" Dodson was an inspiration to all and an example of what humanity should be. She mounted a courageous battle to take on life on her terms. She will be greatly missed.
Brandi Dodson was fondly called Queen Bee or Bee by people who knew her. She was always full of life and a vision of inspiration to others. She was a loving wife and a wonderful mom. She was also a breast cancer warrior on a mission with a message of fighting cancer with resilience and courage.
34-year-old Brandi was a loving wife and mom. She worked in the trucking industry at The Pete Store. After being diagnosed in 2021 with a deadly form of breast cancer, she went into remission.
Brandi had an incredible journey. In January 2024, Brandi's cancer came back. It had metastasized into stage 4 cancer. Brandi was not about to give up her journey and fought hard.
Brandi refused to let cancer win. She shared her message of strength, light, and intentional living with everyone. You can hear her incredible message of empowerment in Episode 114 of Women Road Warriors.
